With no rockets or artificial satellites present, drawing out artificial satellites concept is another level of brain function!
It is relatively easier to develop creative thinking to discover new phenomena or invent new tools to compete. This is because the target can be visualized either direct or indirect ways (e.g., experiments). However, creative thinking to create new concept is challenging since the result is not observable. The creative thinking process to create new concepts not only requires creative thinking process but also requires simulation function of brain. Well known examples are Isaac Newton’s artificial satellite concept and Albert Einstein’s relativity theory. In case of artificial satellite concept, Newton drew it out by simulating relative relationship among the concepts of force, distance, and mass. Einstein was able to create relativity theory by simulating relative relationship among speed of light, time, and space (distance). These concepts didn’t exist before for them to observe.
The creative thinking to create new concepts is highly advanced brain function since it requires simulation process. In other words, creative thinking to create new concept is summation of creative thinking to discover new, creative thinking to develop new tools, and simulation process.
Application
Creating new concepts provides new direction to entire humanity. However, sometimes the new concepts are too advanced for people to accept for a long time. For example, about 2300 years ago, Eratosthenes was able to figure out that the shape of earth is sphere. And he was even able to calculate circumference of earth. However, people still thought that earth was flat for many more years.
With evolution of science and technology, it might not take that long time to prove.
